The curriculum sequence begins with a focus on critical making and landscape media. It culminates in students examining critical issues in landscape architecture at multiple scales. Core classes are designed to help students gain expertise in grading, material technologies, ecological systems, and representation, and pair directly with studios so that these core methods and knowledge bases are intertwined with the design process. During the 3-year program, students explore ideas through hybridized analog and digital processes, and test ideas and materials at the 1-to-1 scale.
